Supporting Applicants with Using the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School Tool - February 26, 2020

The AAMC American Medical College Application Service® (AMCAS®) created the Choose Your Medical School (CYMS) tool to support medical schools’ enrollment management processes and help applicants communicate their intentions about which medical schools they plan to attend.

Please join us for our second AMCAS Choose Your Medical School tool webinar to learn more about the tool to better support your applicants upon its opening on February 19. This 90-minute session will review key upcoming dates and milestones for applicants. Attendees will also hear from a medical school admissions dean who will present examples about how they used the tool and related reports. There will also be time for questions and answers.

During this presentation, pre-health advisors will:

• Hear directly from a medical school about how they use CYMS data and reports
• Receive an in-depth understanding of the timeline for important applicant and school activity
• Understand how to help applicants with navigating the tool throughout the admissions process
