Medicaid Policy Changes -- Access, Managed Care - June 8

Recorded On: 06/08/2023

On April 27, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released two highly anticipated proposed rules.

The first proposed rule, Managed Care Access, Finance, and Quality, (88 FR 28092) focuses on managed care delivery systems.

The second proposed rule, Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services, (88 FR 27960) focuses on fee-for-service delivery systems and program improvements for home- and community-based services (HCBS) across delivery systems.

If finalized, these proposals would represent the most significant changes to federal Medicaid and CHIP regulations since CMS established the existing regulatory framework for managed care in 2016.

This webinar will highlight proposals included within these proposed rules.
