CY 2025 Quality Payment Program and Shared Savings Program Final Rule - December 4

Please join the AAMC-Vizient Clinical Practice Solutions Center (CPSC) for a webinar discussing final policies for the Shared Savings Program and Quality Payment Program (QPP) in the calendar year (CY) 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule on Wednesday December 4, 2024, at 2:00 pm (EDT). During this 60-minute webinar, AAMC and Vizient staff will present on policy changes for accountable care organizations (ACOs) participating in the Shared Savings Program, eligible clinicians scored under the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) of the QPP, and for qualifying participants (QPs) in Advanced Alternative Payment Models (AAPMs) in the QPP. For the Shared Savings Program, topics include refinements to financial benchmarking, changes to quality reporting and performance, a new option to receive prepaid shared savings, and opportunity to inform future developments to the program. For the QPP, topics include changes to the MIPS framework, performance threshold, updates on the MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs) reporting option and potential future sunset of traditional MIPS, opportunities to inform the future state of MVPs, and a new APM Performance Pathway (APP) Plus Quality measure set. Participants will be able to ask questions once the presentation ends.

Phoebe Ramsey, JD
Director, Physician Payment & Quality

Phoebe Ramsey is the Director of Physician Payment & Quality Policy at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) focusing on issues relating to health care quality measurement, value-based care payment design, health equity, and health information technology. She also provides policy insight as a member of the AAMC Center for Health Justice’s Policy Team. Before joining the AAMC, she led the Next Generation and Pioneer ACO Model Teams at the CMS Innovation Center. Ms. Ramsey earned her law degree with honors from American University’s Washington College of Law, her bachelor’s degree with honors from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School for Citizenship and Public Affairs, and is a member of the DC Bar.

Jenna Stern, JD
AVP, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy

As AVP of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, Jenna Stern supports Vizient’s government relations, monitors federal regulatory and legislative developments, and helps communicate Vizient’s positions on developments that are most relevant to Vizient and its members. Jenna received her law degree with a concentration in health law from Case Western Reserve University and is a member of the Maryland and DC bars. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from Brock University.

Ki Stewart, JD
Senior Analyst, Physician Payment & Quality

Ki Stewart is a Senior Policy and Regulatory Analyst specializing in physician payment and quality policy at the Association of American Medical Colleges. Her portfolio includes Medicare payment, telehealth, behavioral health, Veterans Affairs, and other issues. Prior to joining the AAMC, Ki worked as a federal contractor for the Department of Justice in the Civil Department, combatting Medicare fraud and abuse. She has also completed an externship with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. Ki earned her JD with a concentration in Health Law from the University of Maryland Francis Carey School of Law and is a member of the D.C. and Maryland Bars. She earned her BA in Political Science from American University.
