Cynthia Hutchinson
Director of Residency Engagement, AAMC ERAS

Cynthia Hutchinson is Director of Residency Engagement with the AAMC and a member of the ERAS Program team. She began this role in 2024, and her work includes connecting with learners, schools, institutions, programs, and specialties to gather feedback and share information to improve the transition to residency. 

Cynthia has more than a dozen years of experience in GME, serving in positions that have ranged from program administration to corporate director of GME overseeing accreditation and operations on a national level. She is experienced in GME strategy, operations, and ACGME accreditation.

Jason Reminick, MD, MBA, MS
CEO & Founder, Thalamus

Jason Reminick, MD, MBA, MS is the CEO & Founder of Thalamus, the premier cloud-based interview management platform for graduate medical education (GME) training programs. Dr. Reminick trained in the combined Pediatrics/Anesthesiology residency program at Stanford University Medical Center/Stanford Children's Health - Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, while concurrently earning his MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business, concentrating in Entrepreneurship and Health Sciences Management. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Biochemistry and Theatre Arts, while concurrently sub-matriculating to earn an MS in Chemistry. He was recognized as a Physician of Tomorrow award recipient (2012) by the American Medical Association for his entrepreneurial, humanistic and medical journalism pursuits. He was a member of the Stanford University Society of Physician Scholars (2013-2017), a Joseph Collins Foundation Fellow (2011-2013). and an AMSA Medical Humanities Scholar (2012). 

Dr. Reminick's research is featured in leading medical journals including The Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME), The Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS) and Anesthesia & Analgesia. He is a nationally renowned expert on the undergraduate medical education (UME) to graduate medical education (GME) transition, including all many key topics regarding residency (and fellowship) recruitment and the Match. Dr. Reminick is passionate about medical innovation, entrepreneurship, education, technology, the doctor-patient relationship, and the medical humanities.

Patrick Fritz, MBA
Senior Director, Residency & Fellowship Services, AAMC

Patrick Fritz is the Senior Director for Residency and Fellowship Services at the AAMC, a post he has held since July 2024. From 2022 until 2024, Patrick served as the Senior Director of Admissions and Selection Application Services. Prior to that he spent four years as senior director for the AMCAS program, where he oversaw the development of the AMCAS for Schools analytics platform and the Choose Your Medical School selection tool.
