ERAS® and NRMP® offer SOAP® 101 Webinar - March 7

The 2023 Match Week and Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program® (SOAP®) will begin on Monday, March 13 at 10 a.m. ET.

To introduce residency applicants to the SOAP schedule and process, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC®) Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) and the National Resident Matching Program® (NRMP®) will host a joint webinar on Tuesday, March 7 at 1 p.m. ET.

Representatives from the ERAS team and the NRMP will provide an overview of the SOAP process and information on the following:

  • NRMP SOAP eligibility requirements
  • Communication rules during SOAP
  • ERAS application preparation for SOAP
  • ERAS SOAP requirements
  • ERAS SOAP application process
  • Match week timeline and SOAP offer rounds
  • NRMP SOAP data

Applicants will be able to ask ERAS and NRMP staff questions after the presentation. Registration is limited to 3000 attendees.

This webinar will last 75 minutes and will be recorded, emailed, and posted on the AAMC Webinars and Online Courses page as well as the NRMP website. You can also find the recording in your AAMC Dashboard after you've logged in.
