Creating a Healing & Growing Space: a candid conversation between women of color and white women in the academy - July 15

In planning discussions for the Intersectionality and Women of Color webinar series, a critical component was raised about how to engage white women in solidarity with women of color in order to fully support gender equity and DEI efforts. A crucial aspect of understanding intersectionality is engaging individuals of all identities and exploring how those identities hold more or less power.

This webinar, intended for a wide audience of faculty, administrative leaders, learners and staff, will host a courageous and open conversation about how white women can show up for women of color. In order to meet our diversity, equity and inclusion goals we must have authentic conversation and keep intersectionality at the heart of this work to truly make progress. Whether you are new or experienced with equity work, all are welcome to this conversation!
