The Medicare Shared Savings Program “Pathways to Success” ACO Final Rule - January 28

During this 60-minute webinar, AAMC staff will present on the provisions from CMS’s “Pathways to Success” final rule redesigning the Medicare Shared Savings Program, Medicare’s flagship program for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Topics covered will include changes to the program’s risk tracks, participation options for ACOs based upon fee-for-service revenue and prior experience in the program, changes to the benchmark methodology and risk adjustment, and expanding opportunities for ACOs to use of telehealth and the 3-Day SNF Rule waiver.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions once the presentation has concluded.

All organizations who intend to apply for the ACO program agreements beginning July 1, 2019 must complete the Notice of Intent to Apply (NOIA) by January 18, 2019. This includes ACOs under current agreements who wish to begin participating in SNF 3-Day Rule Waiver beginning July 1st or create a Beneficiary Incentive Program beginning July 1st. Details about the NOIA process can be found here. Please feel free to reach out to Phoebe Ramsey if you have any questions about this deadline.
