AAMC Situational Judgment Test: A review of 2021 highlights, data, and what’s new in 2022 - February 2

Recorded On: 02/02/2022

After working with the medical school admissions community on rigorous multi-year research and testing, the AAMC has determined that the Situational Judgment Test is a valid, reliable, and fair assessment and provides an actionable preview of each applicant’s potential to develop into a future physician who provides compassionate care, collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams, and navigates emotional, cultural, and ethical challenges. In 2022, the AAMC SJT will be renamed the AAMC Professional Readiness Exam (AAMC PREview™). More medical schools will use the test in their admissions process for the 2022-23 admissions cycle.

In this interactive webinar, AAMC leaders will review the results of research and evaluation on this assessment, as well as outline the plans for the AAMC PREview program going forward. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions. The webinar will be recorded.
