The 2022 Annual Sullivan Lecture will feature John Bluford, founder of the Bluford Healthcare Leadership Institute. Bluford will address crucial topics in healthcare and social justice before an audience of healthcare leaders from around the world who will convene virtually as part of the Annual Meeting of the Alliance of Academic Health Centers, and AAMC’s Learn Serve Lead.
The Sullivan Lecture, an initiative of the Sullivan Alliance, is delivered annually. This distinguished award honors the visionary leadership and outstanding service of The Honorable Louis W. Sullivan, MD, former secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 1989 to 1993, and founder of the Sullivan Alliance to Transform the Health Professions.
