Many medical students feel pressured to engage in research just to enhance their residency applications. But how much does research and publications actually impact interview invitation decisions? In this webinar, we’ll explore common myths about the “research arms race” through data and input from program directors to provide students, especially M1s and M2s, as well as advisors with evidence-based insights to help them make informed decisions. Our goal is to shift the focus from research as a requirement to research as a meaningful academic and career pursuit.
