Richard Peng

Richard Peng is a Director for ERAS Outreach and Engagement. He was previously a manager for that team. Before joining Outreach and Engagement, he was an ERAS Senior Account Relationship Management Specialist, a Lead Program Relations Specialist and a Training Senior Specialist. After 10 years with the AAMC he has a deep and thorough understanding of the ERAS systems, an appreciation for the needs of individuals across medical education and a desire to ensure that they receive timely and accurate information and guidance.

Dr. Raga Ramachandran completed her MD and PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She also completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Liver/GI Pathology at UCSF. She joined the UCSF faculty in 2010, and is Professor and Director of Medical Education in the Dept. of Pathology. She is in her second five-year term as the Endowed Chair in Pathology Medical Student Education through UCSF’s Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators. She is an Associate Director for the UCSF Medical Scientist Training Program, and she is the Faculty Mentoring Facilitator for her department. Since 2020, she has served on the leadership council for the Undergraduate Medical Educators Section (UMEDS) of the Association for Academic Pathology (AAPath). She is currently Chair-Elect of UMEDS.
Deborah Chute, MD

Dr. Deborah Chute completed her Medical Doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania, and residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Virginia. She completed a General Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Stanford University, followed by a fellowship in Cytopathology at the University of Virginia. She has been on staff at the Cleveland Clinic since 2009, specializing in Cytopathology and Head and Neck Surgical Pathology, and is Associate Professor of Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. She has been the Residency Program Director for the Pathology Residency at the Cleveland Clinic since 2017, and nationally serves as a member of the American Board of Pathology Cytopathology Test Development Committee, is Immediate Past Chair of the Pathology Program Directors (PRODS) Council, and will be starting as a member of the ACGME Pathology Review Committee in July 2025.
