ERAS® and NRMP® offer SOAP® 101 Webinar - March 10

The 2022 Match Week and Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP®) will begin on Monday, March 14 at 10 a.m. ET. 

To introduce residency applicants to the SOAP schedule and process, the Association of American Medical College's (AAMC®) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®) and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP®) will host a joint webinar on Thursday, March 10 at 1 p.m. ET. 

ERAS and the NRMP will provide an overview of the SOAP process and information on the following - 

  • NRMP SOAP Eligibility Requirements
  • Communication Rules During SOAP
  • ERAS Preparation for SOAP
  • ERAS SOAP Requirements
  • ERAS SOAP Application Process
  • Match Week Timeline and SOAP Offer Rounds
  • NRMP SOAP Data

Applicants will be able to ask ERAS and NRMP staff questions after the presentation. 

This webinar will last 90 minutes and will be recorded, emailed, and posted on the AAMC Webinars and Online Courses page. You can also find the recording in your AAMC Dashboard after you've logged in.

Richard Peng

Program Relations Specialist, ERAS

Richard Peng joined the AAMC in 2015 as an ERAS Client Technical Support member. Since then, he transitioned into the external facing side of the ERAS team as a program relations specialist. He has extensive experience working with multiple constituent types including applicants, schools, and programs navigating through ERAS and has helped to produce the many webinars and learning resources that ERAS host

Jeanette Calli

Chief of Match Operations, NRMP

Jeanette Calli joined the NRMP in 2014 and serves as the Chief of Match Operations. Prior to joining the NRMP, she worked for more than 12 years at the Association of American Medical Colleges serving as the program manager for Careers in Medicine, where she presented hundreds of workshops and conference sessions on specialty choice and assisting students though the residency application and Match process.  Jeanette holds a B.S. in Communications and an M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs, both from the Florida State University.

Erin Helbling

Manager of Business Development, ERAS

Erin Helbling serves as the ERAS team as the Manager of Business Development.  In this role, Erin assists in executing the business strategy for ERAS by building relationships with key stakeholders, focuses on improving our user experience by ensuring our products are meeting user needs, and provides direction for the utilization of data to improve engagement and outreach. 

Erin joined the AAMC after previously serving AACOM as the Associate Director of Recruitment & Outreach. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Tech and holds a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Clemson University.
