Please join the AAMC-Vizient Clinical Practice Solutions Center (CPSC) for a webinar discussing the 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule on December 8, 2021 at 3:30pm (EST). During this 60 minute webinar, AAMC and Vizient staff will present on physician payment provisions from the final rule. Topics include new payment rates for physician services, clarifications to evaluation and management payment policies, impact analyses for CPSC members, changes to Medicare telehealth policies, and others.

Gayle Lee, JD
Director, Physician Payment Policy and Quality

Gayle Lee is the Director of Physician Payment Policy and Quality at the Association of American Medical Colleges. Ms. Lee has an expansive background in health care law, regulation, advocacy, and policy. She is responsible for educating and advocating on federal regulations and policies that impact teaching hospitals and physicians.  Prior to joining AAMC, Ms. Lee served as Senior Director of Health Finance and Quality at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) where her key areas of responsibility involved Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA and health care reform regulations impacting rehabilitation. Before APTA, Ms. Lee was the Assistant Counsel and Policy Coordinator at the American Rehabilitation Association where she worked on issues that affected rehabilitation hospitals and units.    Ms. Lee received her law degree at the Washington College of Law at the American University DC and completed her undergraduate work at Pennsylvania State University located in University Park, Pennsylvania.

Greg Askin, MHA
Ambulatory and Physician Analytical Director

As Director, Analytics, Greg is responsible for generating custom productivity and revenue cycle analyses, benchmarks, and operational services for physician group, service line, and departmental leaders of Vizient-AAMC-Clinical Practice Solutions Center® member organizations.  In this role he works with faculty practice organizations to project and model revenue impact based on national regulations, develop and interpret annual Billing Office Survey to aid in improving back-end efficiencies. 

Greg has been with Vizient for 10 years. Previous experience includes working in global pharmacovigilance at Baxter International.

Greg earned a master’s in Health Administration from Ohio University and a bachelor of science in health administration from the Indiana University. 

Jenna Stern, JD
Sr. Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy Director

Jenna Stern currently serves as Vizient’s senior regulatory affairs and public policy director. In this role, she identifies and responds to legislative and regulatory developments of most interest to Vizient’s members. Medicare reimbursement and drug policy are among the topics which Jenna focuses on at Vizient. Prior to joining Vizient, Jenna was the director for health policy at the American Pharmacists Association and a senior associate with Avalere Health, a health care consulting firm in Washington, DC. In her previous roles, she specialized in regulatory affairs, strategy, policy and data analysis for life sciences, health plans and providers. Jenna has also worked at various non-profit organizations focusing on public health and patient advocacy. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Hons.) from Brock University and a Juris Doctor with a concentration in health law from Case Western Reserve University. She is admitted to the Maryland bar.

Ki Stewart, JD
Policy & Regulatory Analyst

Ki Stewart is a Policy and Regulatory Analyst specializing in physician payment and quality policy at the AAMC. Her portfolio includes Medicare payment, telehealth, behavioral health, veterans affairs, and other issues. Prior to joining the AAMC, Ki worked as a federal contractor for the Department of Justice in the Civil department, combatting Medicare fraud and abuse. She has also completed an externship with The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. Ki earned her J.D. with a concentration in Health Law from the University of Maryland Francis Carey School of Law and is a member of the D.C. Bar. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from American University.
