Alexis Pelletier-Bui, MD, is the Associate Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). She graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Camden Campus, in 2011. She completed her emergency medicine residency training at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where she served as Chief Resident from 2013 to 2014. She has served as Co-Clerkship Director for the emergency medicine clerkship at CMSRU and is currently the CMSRU Emergency Medicine Subspecialty Advisor. Dr. Pelletier-Bui's passions and research interests surround medical student advising and the residency application process and she lectures nationally on the topics of evidence-based advising and residency application process improvement.  She currently serves as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for the Council of Residency Directors in EM (CORD-EM) as well as the Co-Chair for CORD's Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) Committee.  She is a past Chair of CORD's Advising Students Committee in Emergency Medicine (ASC-EM) and the CORD Application Process Improvement Committee.  She has been one of emergency medicine's representatives to the AAMC Supplemental ERAS Application Working Group and AAMC ERAS Application Content Refresh Working Group.

Debra Rusk, MD

Debra Rusk, MD currently serves as an Assistant Dean in Medical Student Affairs at Indiana University School of Medicine.  Her focus in career mentoring and she thrives on assisting medical students select a specialty, become the best possible candidate, and match into specialty and program for a career that will provide a lifetime of fulfillment.  She is also a current member of the AAMC Careers in Medicine Advisory committee.   

Dr. Rusk has focused on medical education throughout her career teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.  She has served as core faculty in the IU Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine and the Motorsports Medicine fellowship, and was the prior program director for the IU combined residency training program in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.
